In this passage, we see Jesus warning his disciples of the dangers of spiritual blindness that have the potential of plaguing all who lack discernment and wisdom. Using the examples of the leaven of the pharisees and of Herod, Jesus provides his disciples of how spiritual blindness ultimately manifests itself.
