Youth Ministry

Awake and Alive (A.A.A.) Youth Ministry exists to be an irresistible influence in the lives of young people, teaching them to awaken to the love of Jesus, and to be truly alive by the power of the Holy Spirit!

We are a family first, where everyone is welcome, no matter their background or their past. We want you to come as you are, but also be open to the fact that the grace of God is the world's most powerful agent for change!

From our weekly youth nights at church on Wednesdays, to the various concerts and conferences, to the fun nights out and lock-ins, A.A.A. youth ministry truly provides amazing opportunities for our youth to connect, have fun, and experience God in many different ways!

Thank you for checking out our page, and if you'd like to know about who we are and what we do, you contact Pastor Jeremy by clicking here.

God bless you, and hope you get to experience all that our ministry has to offer!

"But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us ALIVE together with Christ - it is by grace you have been saved...!"

Meet Our Youth Leaders!

Whitney Ferguson

Hi! My name is Whitney and I really enjoy being involved with youth ministry at FBCAC!

I was born in Citrus Heights, CA, but raised in Calavaras County. I moved to Tennessee my freshman year of high school but moved back to Angels Camp for my sophomore year, and graduated from Bret Harte in 2015.

I have a younger brother, Trevor, and a younger sister Ashley, and currently work in home daycare that my mom runs out of our house, so as you can imagine, family is a huge part of my life! I am also going to Columbia College to get my child development certificate, and plan on opening my own Christian-based daycare, because children and Jesus are my passions, so why not put them together?! I truly believe that you’re never too young to learn about Jesus and His love for you!

In my spare time I love hanging out with my friends and family. Some of my favorite things to do are read, write, and draw.

I am super stoked to be a youth leader for this amazing youth group, primarily for two reasons. First of all, I love watching people get as excited about Jesus as I am. And second, our generation needs to realize that we need to be heard and not ashamed of saying the name Jesus or talking about God. I can honestly say we learn a lot about this and put it into practice in Awake and Alive Youth Ministry.

Thank you, and know that you are loved!
