The impossible is God’s Specialty!
As we continues our new series (God Has a Word for You!), let’s do our best to keep our minds and spirits open to God moving us with His unique word for each of us!
I want to thank Cindy Winn and Pastor Jeremy for helping me, last Sunday, get the foundation laid for our series as we looked at the Four Principals Connected to God’s Word for Us. If you missed it click here and get blessed.
Every day we are in communion with our competent heavenly Father, our compassionate Savior, and the comforting Holy Spirit in us. And every day we get to be in communion with their amazing love for us. This is why we are able to expectantly receive from the Trinity with the attitude that nothing is beyond our abilities because nothing is beyond the Trinity’s resources.
On Sunday, as I bring part 2, we will hear from two men who have dared to dream and who have raised their faith levels in order to accomplish the will of God in their lives.
The way I see it, yesterday’s impossibilities are today’s miracles, and the last time I checked God out on this, He really does specialize in the impossible! So never let the impossible contaminate your thinking because dreamers cling to the possible!
I love what John Maxwell writes in his inspiring book The Laws of Leadership,“A dream is an inspiring picture of the future that energizes your mind, will and emotions, empowering you to do everything you can to achieve God’s purpose for your life.”
When God gives us a dream, He always backs that dream up with all the resources He has at His disposal! This is what inspires me to dare to dream! And this is what motivated the greatest dreamers in the New Testament – the apostle Paul. He dreamed so far outside the box that the Church struggled to keep up with his passion at times. He dreamed so big that it got him in trouble with the world. He dreamed so big that the hardest, most callous religious thinkers around him got saved. He dreamed so big that he was able to turn the known world at that time completely upside down! We need some dreamers today!
“Now all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.”
So Sunday, God has a word for you – DREAM! Get ready to become dreamers! Become a dreamer with a destiny that thinks big and acts big on behalf of our big God!
