Pastor Glenn Moore

I was born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado. I graduated from Centennial High School in Pueblo and served in the US Navy on the USS Midway aircraft carrier.

In 1979, I moved to Modesto, CA, and by the grace of God met the love of my life and my best friend, Pam Barnhill. We married about a year later, and have an adopted son Lorenzo, who is 36.

I graduated from San Francisco College of Mortuary Science in 1985 and
worked for Allen Mortuary in Turlock, CA for 17 years before moving to the foothills and joining the team at Calaveras Mortuaries in 2003, where I have been the director at San Andreas Memorial Chapel since.

But my true passion and calling is serving as the men’s pastor for First Baptist Church in Angels Camp, where I also play the saxophone with the church's worship team. I am also the director of Man on the Mountain Ministry in conjunction with the Motherlode Baptist Association.

In my spare time, I run a side business called "Man on the Mountain Barbecue", specializing in private catering, fund raising for groups, and chili cook-offs.

God bless you!

Pastor Glenn Moore
