God Loves You So Much! He Offers New Life To You!
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
John 10:10 "Jesus said, I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."
So Why Aren't You Experiencing This Love? Because...
All men and women are sinful. Therefore, we cannot know and experience God's love and plan for our lives.
Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
Man was created to have fellowship with God; but, because of his stubborn self-will, he chose to go his own independent way and fellowship with God was broken.
So What Is Our Cure?
Jesus Christ is God's only provision for our sin. He died in our place!
Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
He then rose from the dead as recorded in 1 Corinthians 15:3-6 "... Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures ... he was buried ... he rose again the third day according to the scriptures ... he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once."
John 14:6 "Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man comes to the Father, but by Me."
So What Now?
We must individually receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord; then we can know and experience God's love.
John 1:12 "But as many as received Him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name."
And we do this through faith as stated in Ephesians 2:8,9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast."
When we receive Christ, we experience a new birth as Jesus said to a very religious person named Nicodemus in John 3:3 "Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
Are You Ready For The Next Step?
Below is a suggested prayer that you can pray to begin your new relationship with God.
"Lord Jesus, I need you. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of the throne of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be."
